What could be wrong with my 37 inch Toshiba HD TV?
When I turn it on, the green indicator light turns on- indicating that the TV is on but there is no sound, picture, and the volume and channel menus don’t work when I click them. It is a month over the year warranty so it will cost me $85 just to have an estimate given. I want to know if this problem normally warrants a repair or re-purchase. Thank you. I have tried all the troubleshooting guides and called Toshiba. The buttons on the TV and remote do nothing and I have inspected all of the plugs behind the TV.
Thanks but I want to avoid getting it fixed if it is going to end up being something that will cost alot of money. So what do you think the issue with the TV is? Knowing what it might be, I can research the cost. Thanks though.
have you tried another input such as DVD if it works there it might be the cable box or tuner.Or someone just may have changed the input menu go into menu on the TV and see what happens
