Color Convergence problem on old toshiba HD cinema series TV?
Hi there, i recently got an HD cinema series TV (model tn50x81.
On the television, it seems as though the blue lamp is not working properly. The blue image is distorted by about 10-15 cm above where it should be. Colour convergence does not seem to work, as it won’t let the blue image go down to where it should be.
I know this is an old TV, but i was wondering if it would be possible to repair it somehow, and was wondering how it would be possible to do so.
you need two convergence IC’s and the ablity to solder to fix the problem, it would be better to have a service tech to repair it for you. It will be around $300.00 to fix it.
