I have the 52inch Toshiba DLP HD TV set. Lately, it starts making the humming sound when I turn on the TV.?
It starts making the humming noise when I turn on the TV. The sound is getting louder as I continue keep the TV on. After I turn off the TV, the sound still goes on for another 5 to 10 minutes. Any suggest would be approciated.
the color wheel in your set needs to be replaced,it is basically a small electric motor with a colored disc attached to it.the noise you hear is the bearings in the motor,the problem will get worse with time and could possibly damage more in the set.usual repair cost for this repair around $300.
