I’m looking to buy a 26 in lcd tv for my bedroom. Anyone have any ideas?
I have looked into Sony and Samsung (LNT-2642H and LNT-2653) and each seem to receive very comparable ratings. Should I go with one of these, or consider another brand? It seems that many televisions are on sale right now, so should I go ahead and buy or wait until another time of the year. I’m not in a hurry, but I’m ready for an upgrade when I find a good deal. Thanks for your help.
Definitely purchase a Samsung instead of a Sony. From personal experience, I have owned both TV brands and find that Samsung portrays a much clearer and finer picture than Sony. The sound quality is much more crisp and in general, Samsung TV’s last longer. You could buy a TV anytime right now in the market considering the economy isn’t going to get better anytime soon. If I were you, i would purchase it a store such as Circuit City or Best Buy. Those are the most reliable and popular stores to buy LCD or plasma TV’s at. Plus, make sure get the warrenty just in case. It’s always better to be safe than sorry especially with such an expensive and fragil piece of technology.
