Sharp LCD HDTV question.?
Well I just found out that my Sharp Aquos 32″ LCD was made in Malaysia.. Are Malaysian Electronic Products good quality or bad?
And how can I clean my LCD screen? Can I use any normal Micro-fiber cloth? or should I use any type of special cleaner?

Well its either built in China, Thailand, Malaysia, or India. Are any good or bad really? Its six of one, a half dozen of the other. I wouldn’t worry about that one.
Cleaning LCD…
(1) No tree products. No paper towel, tissue paper, anything that comes from trees. Cotton is your friend, so yes microfiber cloth.
Start with just a dry cloth and see if that does the trick on its own, safest way to go about it.
(2) No household cleaners. Anything ammonia or bleach based is not cool. Don’t use windex
Water isn’t a horrid option. Just lightly mist that onto a cloth (never the TV), and then wipe down. You want a lightly damp cloth, nothing soaked through, so easy on the trigger finger.
(3) Read the manual. See if it discusses cleaning the surface of the TV. It might have some tips for you. More important, it might have a list of things to not use. If it lists that, keep that info close at hand then when figuring out what to use.
(4) Hit up an electronics or TV store and get a cleaning kit. Just ask for an LCD TV cleaning kit. It will come with cloth and cleaning solution. Just lightly mist solution onto cloth (again, not the TV), and wipe down. Make sure to read its label and check against anything the manual said to avoid.
What the DIY method? Go to the drugstore and get isopropyl alcohol (91%). Mix that in a spray bottle with water in a 1:1 ratio. Lightly mist that onto a micro-fiber cloth and then wipe down the TV.
