Sanyo 46″ flat screen shuts off & turns on randomly?
My boyfriend just bought a Sanyo 46″ flat screen tv from walmart a little over a month ago recently the television will shut off and turn on randomly. we were watching the college basketball game in HD and the screen went black for a minute & then once again it shut off and turned back on, what could be wrong with the television? we already switched outlets & that wasnt the problem. any answer helps.
It could be a few things – being as it is a new tv, the transmitter could have gone off for a few – but if the power is going off it’s not likely. It could be the remote section of the tv picking up signal around the house. Very rare but stranger things have happened.
My best suggestion would be to take it back into Walmart.
Just to be on the safe side – I would take it back to Walmart and tell them about it – they will probably tell you to call the maker but that can also be a pain in the butt. If you can cry good enough they may take it back and give you another one – otherwise it will be a trip to the manufacturer –
I would return it asap – the longer you wait the harder it gets to get quick action from them.
