I have an Samsung 1080p Full HD but when I watch TV it only says 1080i, why? And I watched a blu-ray movie on my PS3 and it only said 1080 with no i or p? How can I get it to be P? I mean it says it is one and is there anything wrong or am I just not seeing something here?!
Same with when I play xbox 360 it either will say i but then usually it says just 1080?!?! Help, Thanks.
Your resolution relies on the device and input selected for the device you are using, and sometimes the device needs to be set for full HD too. If you are using the Xbox 360 with component cables and not an HDMI cable you will be in 1080i. If you are using the HDMI then you need to go into the Xbox video settings and select 1080p. I cannot answer on the PS3 since I don’t have one.
