i have a samsung 46 hd tv hooked up to a comcast dvr/cable box via hdmi cable. also a sony reciever hooked up?
via digital optical cable. also a dvd/vhs combo via component cables.i get video and sound out of the dvd but no sound out of tv at cable channels.
Three possibilities. The DVR’s volume is turned down or defective, the HDMI cable is defective, or the TV’s HDMI input is defective.
