My Samsung DLP tv sometimes turns off on me and/or the screen will go black and only sound will be heard.?
It is a 56″ Samsung DLP HD Rear Projection… Should I be worried? It seems to be happening more often as time goes on…
I had the same type of problem with my Mitsubishi. I know Samsung and Mitsubishi had an issue with defective fans. Call the Samsung customer support line and they will have a tech come out and fix the issue. Mine works flawlessly since I had it fixed. On the Mitsubishi, it was a plug on the fan wire. It was close to the bulb and would expand with the heat. The plug would then become loose and show as a faulty fan and the TV would shut down.
