What’s better LED or Plasma?
I’m getting a new TV i’m debating on either getting the Samsung PN50C7000 50″ 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV or Samsung UN40C7000 40″ 1080p 3D LED HDTV. Both are the same price. I was thinking what’s better Led or Plasma?

I would go with the LED b/c my boyfriend and i just recently bought a samsung plasma and there are a few things that differ in the two tvs that might make a huge difference in how long they last and the way you use them
If you are a video game player and you like to watch sports or channels that constantly have a logo on the corner of the screen, then a plasma tv might not be a great choice. Plasma tv’s commonly “burn in” which bluntly means that the logos will stick on the screen even when u change the channel, etc… also a plasma tv is heavier and has more of a shutter movment when it comes to smoothness of the films u watch.
LED tvs are a little more light weight and are better pictures for the most part. they wont burn is AS much and they are booming pretty good at the moment.
I love our Samsung, and we take good care of it so it will last long. if you can do that then u really shouldnt have any problems. If you pause the tv alot, and leave it you should always turn your tv off as u are away as the tv is paused..to avoid burning the screen in…and i would advise u to do that to any tv.. just in case..
