I have an HD Ready TV connected to a Sky box. How can I record Sky TV on to my laptop?
I would like to be able to record TV in to files that can be burnt on to DVD or I can watch on my laptop at a later date. Do I need specific software / hardware?
your laptop must have a capture card (with an S-video in slot)….You will have to connect av cables from laptop to the sky box or the TV (if the TV has an output source)……If your laptop has a capture/TV tuner card it will have come with its software(you will have to familiarise yourself with the software on how to record live streaming shows)………………………….
