RCA ANT1400 Indoor Digital Antenna?
My MIL bought this for us. We don’t have an HD tv. Our picture is pretty choppy and freezes a lot. Is there a better antenna out there? We are frustrated b/c we didn’t mind a little fuzz before digital conversion. Now we can’t watch half of our channels. Don’t have $$ for cable/sat service.
You could try an external antenna.
I would suggest that you find out what type of antenna you need for your location.
Go to http://antennaweb.org click “Choose an Antenna”, enter only you ZIP code, the rest is optional, you’ll get info about the stations you can receive and the type of antenna you need.
Now click “Antenna Info” (tab on top), see explanation on antenna color.
If you decide to buy one, try Radio Shack, be sure that meets the reception color or better. If you have a bit better antenna, it’ll help with bad weather.
