Why is it that movie theaters have 3d movies with cheap glasses while 3d tvs have $150 electronic glasses?
i go see a 3d movie at the theater and they hand me polarized glasses that cost nothing but when i get a 3d tv i have to buy expensive electronic glasses
Because the 3d system used in a cinema is a simple one involving double lens cameras. Tv uses a system much more complicated involving glasses with a shutter system which have to be electronically synchronized with the tv screen, making them much more expensive.
