Can I replace my TV Tuner’s antenna, or even better, can I plug it into the wall?
I have a Pinnacle PCTV HD mini Stick, and the antenna that came with it is HORRIBLE. Can I replace it with a better antenna? Which antenna would be the best option?
Even better, is it possible to plug this thing into the wall? In that case, what kind of cord would I have to buy?
Sure. the antenna is designed for the type of signal being received, not the receiver. Any good set top antenna would work. If it has rabbit ears, you don’t really need to use them since most DTV transmissions are on the UHF band.
You may be able to plug it into the wall. Check to see if it has both cable and air modes. Digital TV transmissions over cable TV are different than ATSC over the air transmissions.
