Why do we need TV with 120Hz to 3D?
Why do not we just make a new format, in which instead of creating two images and moves them to the To make 3-D image, only one image that looks like two pictures, but only one. I think this is a trick to earn more money. If we can use mp4 and wmv, why can the same in a similar way for 3D images. We would still raw with video if it were not for all MP4 and other formats. Why is it that we 120hz need for 3D?
I'm not sure you understand how 3D (stereo viewing) works. You can not use a single image and move it. They to have two images from different angles to take, just like our two eyes see the world from two slightly different angles. Then you need to get the two images available separately for each eye. This is usually with a pair of glasses that do act as shutters, so that the left eye only the left image and the right eye only the right see picture. (Consumes USA 60, Europe 50), they generally need a refresh rate of 50 Hz to avoid seeing a flickering image. Because with 3D, each Eye to see a different picture, you need to double this rate (120 Hz in the USA) to avoid flicker. While 3D is a gimmick, it is a real need for higher frame rates by the fibrillation threshold.
