Cna I buy a DVR box independently and use it for over the air local signals? HD and regular?
I want to get rid of my Direct TV. I get great reception over the air for all my locals. But I need the DVR I want to be able to record my shows from over the air? I guess it may have a problem if it doesn’t have a guide? Any help is appreciated
Yes, go with a TIVO and you only have to pay a small $10 monthly fee for the guide. The lifetime service is a good deal but you end up paying for like 3 years up front.
Or you can not pay for the service and just go without the guide. The Tivo will still work without the guide, but your shows will not have title or information.
