I am interested in buying a 55 inch full HD 3D LED TV, which would you recommend?
I am interested in a 55 inch full HD 1080P LED 3D TV.
However, I am confused which to buy.

Which do you think is better between these two TVs?
From my understanding the LG 3D TV supports Cinema 3D technology requiring no special 3D glasses that use batteries. They work with without ones and no charging, typical like the ones found in cinemas and come with 7 free pair of 3d glasses. But I want to be sure if the 3D is realistic and not just a gimmick.
What are your thoughts, which 55 inch LED 3D TV would you recommend out of them two? And if these aren’t good enough, which would you recommend?

The LG Cinema 3D TV is definitely not a gimmick, it delivers 3D images that are very close to the quality you can get in some plasma sets that use active glasses technology. Reviews of active and passive sets side by side though do suggest that active shutter TVs are still better overall.
My advice would be to actually go to a PCWorld branch and get demos of the 2 TVs side by side. Call your local branch first to make sure they have demo models set up. If they don’t , try Currys or Dixons.
It’s a big purchase, you really need to be able to make up your own mind by seeing different models live.
