Monster Blu-Ray 1200 Higher Definition Cable?
Hi, now I’m not trying to start the monster cable debate again, I was just wondering about this Blu-ray cable they offer.
I was hoping to get a new 3D LED TV soon or later, and hook my PS3 using this cable to play Blu-ray movies and such, I’m hoping you can get Blu-ray live with it, but anyway, is this cable good? I can’t find any reviews over the internet. I’m sure it was designed for blue ray, however they fiddle with words, I’m sure it does increase the quality of the picture.
Also, is it best to use the PS3 as a blue ray movie player, or an actual blue ray surround sound player designed for it? I’m not a TV novice, I just want to know what other people think.
An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. If your PS3 is a couple of yards away from your TV, it may be worth while to spend a little more on a better cable. If it is within a few feet, then it makes no difference. Monster and the other high end cables are all about marketing.
The PS3 is fine as a blueray. yo best results will be to run the HDMI cable into a surround sound receiver then use the receiver to power your surround sound speakers.
