Cheap HD Projectors on ebay. Are they worth it?
Whats up with these real cheap projectors that claim to be 720p and have HDMI? Are these worth it? (i mean for the price) I know they are not as good as a 2 grand one, but are these good for the price? Are they pretty high quality?

First one has 800×600 resolution. That is NOT 720p, nor is it the 1080i that it claims.
Ditto the second one.
Third one is even worse, “native resolution 640*480,compatible with 1024*768.” This means it has a resolution of 640×480 but can input a 1024×768 VGA signal. This thing is barely 480p and they try to brand it as 1080i.
“Supported resolution” is an intentionally misleading term, it refers to what kind of signal the projector can input; it all gets scaled to its native resolution then, and these models are by no means high-definition. Furthermore, such inexpensive models tend to have very poor contrast and color fidelity. So they might be okay for very basic PowerPoint presentations, but will provide unacceptable performance for home theater applications.
