Just brought a HD ready TV, how do I get a HD tuner?
I bought a Sony HDTV "ready" it has no built-in tuner. I want one Tuner so I can buy high-definition images and sounds have the tv on my when watching satellite TV and DVD will go How about these? Where do I start? Do I need only to buy a HD tuner? Thanks
All you really need is an over the air box, you do not subscribe to cable or satellite for HD programming. The model below has an HDMI, component and optical output and a DD pass through. (Use component video for the best results.You also need an antenna for Wireless HD. When you subscribe to cable or satellite will need to get a new box of them. How much for an HD DVD, you are either an upconvert DVD player or Blue-ray or HD DVD player. given the instability of the markets, I say either upconvert or HD DVD. The cost is OK for both Blue Ray is too iffy and expensive for me and who knows whether to take. Use component for best film.
