HD Versus HD Hi Def High Definition Television?
I just want to know what is the difference between HD and Full HD TV? Both get any new channels in Australia (one HD, Go, 7mates etc), but it is sometime a significant price difference. Is it something to do with blu-ray capability? Also all information about Plasma compared to LCD, compared to LED would be great, I have a rough idea about this though.
There are actually two different explanations. In Europe and probably Australia, are the usual terms "HD ready" and "Full HD." HD Ready refers to a set with a 720p display. Full HD refers to a 1080p display. They both look about the same 32 on the smaller screen sizes inches (81 cm) or less. When you get up to about 100 cm and it can display 1080p screen look better, especially on the largest sizes.
