Philips projection TV and High Definition question?
Hello i have a Philips model 46PP9302 on the internet it says its supports 1080i resolution. on the back there is NO hdmi port all I have is a VGA looking port and component (RGB). Now i have a PS3 if i hood a Component cable (RBG) to the TV will that give me 1080i resolution. or do i need somthing to hook up to the VGA port?
Component will work for 1080i, provided there is no content protection that forces non HDCP connections to lower resolution. There shouldn’t be though.
