Thinking about buying this TV?
HP SL4278N 42-inch MediaSmart High-Definition 1080p LCD TV
Does anyone own this tv? Does it live up to it’s descriptions? We are familiar with the HP brand and happy with it, just want any feedback on if this TV is worth the $1900. Thanks!
If you do not think this TV is good then are there any others with the same features such as hooking up your computer and all that?
No the 1500 to 1 contrast ratio is very low for that price point.
You can get a Sony Bravia in that price range with a 7000 to 1 ratio for a much better picture

I have 4 HD 1080P TVs a 70″ JVC Lcos, 42″ Pioneer Plasma, 46″ Phillips LCD and 52″ Sony LCD and the Sony is by far the best
The majority of LCD HD TVs have all inputs you desire and the Sony Bravia does
