Stop Paying For TV Forever
There are only two things you need in order to get absolutely FREE digital television over the air. You will need an HDTV Antenna and a Digital TV tuner. How about a DVR with NO Subscriptions that has built in tuners! There is only one logical reason to continue to pay for television services and that is to receive programming that is not curently available by antenna. But now most of those programs are available for free on the Internet.
Are you still willing to pay for an over-priced service whos value keeps going down while the price keeps going up? Shouldn’t you just Cancel Your Cable now? The main argument that most poeple have is that they get a much better signal from cable than they did back in the antenna days, but now that has all changed. It may have been true in the analog TV days, but now everything over the air is digital.
It is a proven fact that the signal coming to your home directly from the local broadcast station is the best possible signal there is. When you get the television signal directly from the network transmitting tower, you are getting the purest signal available. Now lets see what happens with cable and satellite. They get the same pure signal you would get at your home with an antenna, but then they shrink it down before they send it out to their subscribers. This is how they are able to provide you with SO MANY stations, and bogus stations at that which the average subscriber will never tune in! A signal that has been compressed means that you are getting less resolution in your picture and sound than you should. Did you even know that there are varying degrees of picture quality that can still be legitimately called ‘high definition’?
The second most popular arguement is that they are currently receiving a package which combines their Internet, Telephone, and Cable TV services under one convenient billing. Fine, but when your ‘teaser pricing’ deal expires and the price DOUBLES, ask yourself who you would TRUST more with your critical phone and Internet services…a phone company or a cable company? I’ll leave that answer up to you.
