Xbox 360 HDMI and Scart – No Sound!?
Hi
Last night I was playing on Call Of Duty: World At War with my Xbox running through a HDMI Goldtop cable at 1080i (Like I have for the better part of a year, had my Xbox since Christmas (25th Dec 2007) and I encountered a problem last night, fast approaching February.
Slap bang in the middle of an online match, the screen suddenly looked like a 3D movie without the glasses – and red lines coming off of the characters and objects on screen.
I turned my Xbox off, thinking it was a graphical glitch, and when trying to turn the Xbox on again, the ‘Input Not Supported’ message appeared, while my Xbox worked in the background.
I have tried this with a Scart cable as well, and it just says ‘Scart – No Input’. I tried it on the HDTV downstairs and it’s just a blue screen – but there’s sound in the background. I can hear the Dashboard being navigated.
Help please?
My TV is a Tevion and the one downstairs is by Accoustic Solutions.
CAll microsoft and ask them.. It sounds like it needs to be repaired
