Is WNED Moving to Digital Cable?
I read on Time Warner Cable’s Website WNED is moving to Digital Channel 3 and will no longer be available in Analog or HD. I called Time Warner and they told me after June 12, 2009 i would need a digital cable box. One of my TV’s Connected to Basic Cable is a HDTV and it Receives HD Locals from Time Warner with the analog channels. Can anybody Confirm the information below.
In Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston and portions of Monroe Counties only:
WNED analog will no longer be available on Channel 3
WNED HD will no longer be available on Channel 1003
WNED SD (digital) will be added to channel 3
People who receive TV via an antenna AND have an older TV (built before 1995 (I think)) will have to get a converter. Anyone with sateiilite or cables needs to do nothing.
