how to hook up LCD tv as PC monitor?
I have a 22′ Sanyo LCD 1080 tv and im getting a new PC. I did not want to buy another monitor since i can just use my TV, it does have a PC hookup in the back. the problem is i dont know what wire makes it possible for me to make the two work together. I heard things about an HDMI cable, but i dont really know which one would work. If your computer has an HDMI out, and your TV has an HDMI input, use HDMI, it’s the best option, or you can run DVI, as it’s the best way to go, or you can run VGA which might be buggy depending on what resolution the PC input on your TV supports, or you can run component video if your PC’s graphics card supports it which will work for sure, but it’s the worst option.
