Help needed with viewing distance on 40″ Sony HDTV?
Hi, after allot of research I have 99% decided to by a Sony LCD TV 40″. I’m a bit unsure of the viewing distance away from the TV so the picture does not look all blocky. My sofa is about 10ft away and other chairs about 8ft. Is a 40″ to big or would it be better to get a 37″?
Also does the picture quality stay the same at any distance when watching a program in HD or bluray.
Any advice would be helpfull.
Anything over 6 or 7 ft should be fine for a 40″, though it’s all a matter of personal preference.
