reviewed this player for almost annually waited till they arrived th the new OPPO BDP-93 and bought it the moment i could. I employ a Sony 7. 1 A/V receiver a Samsung LED 46in flatscreen along with Energy take classic several. 1 surround speakers this player hooked up seemlesly to all involving my componets. The picture from standard DVDs Amazing i played like 50 movies i had watched a million times and also the picture just looked AMAZING does an awesome job upconverting to 1080P can easily hardly tell difference any time playing normal DVDs along with Blu ray disks. internet marketing running two Hdmi cabling one for audio to my receiver one for video directly to TV ON PC for Optimal results. The sound based on DVD audio disks in the surround sound is amazing you can hear every note being played. Played everything relating to put in it wonderfully DVDs, DVD AUDIO, BLU RAY, and MP3s dont include any SACDs so never have tried that yet. it can also connect wireless to some laptop or pc (file shareing should be enabled on your PC) as well as stream pictures movies and music out of your PC. If you are seeking a great A/V player to use in a high end recipient and tv look ABSOLUTELY NO further!!If you dont possess a Full 1080P HD TELEVISION you probly wont be able to tell much of the difference in video top quality than from cheaper players but when you have a large flat screen 46 in+ you can DEFINATLY be amazed in video and sound level of quality! I do not have 3D nor should i care to put on 3D goggles to watch after a movie so i cant inquire into the 3D aspect but in case you are into that im sure it’s just as amazing in addition. The setup manual is dummy prof if you follow the instructions intended for Advanced setup. You can also make use of the quick set up GUI to the screen at start upward for less tec savy those who dont need the rest of the options as in innovative setup. Wireless N works very intense for streaming Netflix/Blockbuster. The firmware disk that comes with the OPPO BDP-93 is outdated adjusted 15 Feb 2011 so dont bother using it go to the auto firmware update while in the players settings(once you are usually connected online)and download the particular firmware directly to the player you can even use a USB thumb drive to update the firmware if you ever cant connect your gambler online. Check OPPO’s website for latest firmware variations. BUY THIS BDP-93 you’ll not be dissapointed!!
