Is there an upscaling for standard definition TV signal to HD?
All stations here in the Philippines are in standard definition format. I want to be able be enjoying a better quality picture on my HDTV while watching TV. Is there a upscaler, the standard def TV broadcast in HD can upscale?
Each HD TV receives no signal is automatically scaled to make it to the native resolution. Whatever your TV, 720p or 1080p, it is already upscaling of SD signals, to it's native resolution is received. So there is nothing else you can buy, it is done. But sd is 480 lines and if your tv, which expands to 720 or 1080, is the clarity of the image is soft and not very good. Until you get an HD source, Blu Ray? You will have the poor quality.
