Why does my PS3 sometimes play certain demos in black and white?
I know the problem is probably something to do with my video settings, but I don’t want mess around with all the settings without knowing how to fix it.
The God Of War 3 demo plays in black and white and so did a few other demos and also the sound kept going out of sync. but other ones work fine such as Yakuza 3, Heavy Rain and AVP.
My PS3 works fine playing other games. My TV is just a normal TV, not HD or LCD. I know when I play blu-rays it also goes in black and white
I would like to know how to fix this.
Also whenever I am on my PS3 their are diagonal lines going across the screen, they have disappeared once before ,it kinda ruins the quality when play games, how do you get rid of them?

I don’t mean to sound as unhelpful as I probably will (or rude) but I think you’re better off just getting a new tv by the sounds of it. The PS3 NEEDS a LCD tv AT LEAST mate. What would happen if you tried to drive a Ferrari with a Skoda engine? There’s gonna be problems! Im not having a go cos I know everyone’s circumstances are different but I would try to get a new TV asap
