why does my LCD tv change formats automatically on me?
If i am not in HDTV the screen size changes…. some times alot and it is very annoying . Is it because my tv is sensing hd programing on “regular” tv channels?
Any ideas about this?

Is it at random during a show or something, not including commercials? If that’s the case. . . it’s normal, and you’ll get used to it. Some programs (and commercials) are in 16:9 and some are still in 4:3. . . including some new ones on major networks.
With at least some sets, you can tell the TV to stretch a 4:3 picture to fill a 16:9 screen if it really annoys you and you don’t mind that everyone’s looking just slightly wider than you’re used to.
If it’s changing at random. . . then it’s your TV and you should get that looked at.
