MY HD LCD TV is not receiving any digital channels?
I have a 47in Phillips 47PFL7422D/37. Yesterday I hooked up a basic rabbit ear antenna to the back of my TV and received 22 digital channels. After playing around with the rabbit ear antennas I noticed I need a better antenna for a more stable signal. When i went to the back of the tv to undo the coaxial cable, it was stuck. I got an adjustable wrench from my garage and used it to get the coaxial cable loose from the TV. When i was loosening the coaxial cable, i also accidentally spun the coaxial output from the TV, a little bit.
Today i went and got a better antenna from Radio Shack, and hooked it up to the tv and received 0 digital channels and 2 analog channel. Then i hooked up my old rabbit ear antennas and received 0 digital channels and 0 analog channels. Now I’m receiving 0 digital channels from both antennas, where as to yesterday I was receiving 20 digital channels clearly.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong or have any ideas on whats wrong with my tv?
It sounds to me like you broke the jack itself. It will likely require repair. Luckily for you, it is something that isn’t going to cost an arm and a leg.
If you have any basic soldering skills, you may be able to repair it yourself.
