How do I transfer my files and/or operation system from one HD to anther?
I have an older AVIO computer that only has a 4 Gb HD in it.
I do have a faster computer, but this one has a TV card and several extra audio video ports on it.
Right now it has a 4 Gb HD in it but over 3 Gb are full.
I have a 20 GB HD to put in it, that has Windows 98 on it, and not much else.
I can do 1 of 2 things, format the new HD and install Windows ME on a clean drive and then copy over the rest of the programs, or just copy over the entire contents of the old HD.
In one way I would like to start with by just upgrading to ME and then copy over all the other files that I use, because the computer came with a several graphic programs on it (and I do not have the disks to reinstall them) and get ride of the junk (I do not know how much space is being taken up on the old HD by usless things).
What do you suggest and how do I do it?

Other than that, I would use Norton ghost to copy the old hard drive to the new one. You might need to buy an external hard drive case for the new drive to do it, but they are cheap online
