Reducing blur in panning shots of an HD video (using vegas)?
I’m doing a video right now, and the source video looks fine, but when I render it (wmv 3.6mb/s 720p) using vegas 8 pro, theres alot of blur in panning shots.
Is this a setting related to motion blur, if so what is the ideal one to choose (gaussian/pyramid/etc)
Is this something to do with the mb/s, 3.6 was the lowest, so should I be looking for a higher number?
I watched the video on my ps3, going to a denon receiver, and then to my tv. In this process, since I chose 24p could it be screwing with the frames?
You should choose the same frame rate as the original, if possible, since that could certainly add to the problem.
You should also choose a higher bit rate (mb/s). The lower it is, the worse the quality will be.
I’m not familiar with the motion blur settings, but you probably want the one that does the least filtering, so try various ones.
