Help with screen size on my Samsung 4066F LCD?
I have DISH Network non-HD receiver. When I use 16:9 ratio for DISH channels they are fuzzy and not clear. I have to use 4:3 to even get a decent picture. However, when I play my PS3 or watch a local HD channel it looks great.
I paid $1500 for an HD TV and can only watch in 4:3 aspect. My friend has Mediacom (local cable) and he has a Samsung 46″ DLP and he watches all channels in 16:9 with no problems. Please help!
Dish uses digital transmission, so unless you use RF to connect your set-top box to the TV, your image should be DVD-like quality.
First, use the best possible connector in this order: Component, or S-video, or composite
You may want to upgrade to an HD set-top box
