Does the Hauppauge – TV HD Stick USB 2.0 TV Tuner with pvr CURRENTLY work with Comcast analog cable?
I’m getting ready to head off for another semester of college in Knoxville, TN. I’ve moved into an apartment, and we will have cable but not a tv in my room. I’m going to have the modem running in my room, and I’ve had COMCAST set it up for cable as well. I’ve got a coaxial splitter, so what I’m wondering is if it is worth it to get the usb tuner. I’ve run out of PCI ports to use the card, so that is out. Also, it seems that some of the reviews said that the connection was kinda dodgy….
Should I go ahead and get this tuner, get a better one or a small TV? My budget is about $130, which is not really enough for a decent TV.
My monitor is 23″ so it would make an adequate TV screen.
