Just ordered Verizon Fios?
I just ordered Verizon Fios as I am sick of Time Warner cable in Brooklyn, NY. Time Warner’s HD TV Service is absolutely horrible and I cant take the freezing channels and restarting the box a few times a week. Anyway, I was wondering what people think about Verizon Fios service in NYC? I have the triple play package that includes Internet, Phone and TV. Any comments and complaints about verizon fios service, especially there TV service?
I don’t live in NYC but I follow Fios. Generally, Fios is a good service. The main complaints seem to be billing errors, poor program descriptions and sometimes missed recordings. Overall it is still a good service and I would recommend it. Internet is rock solid w/o complaints. You probably won’t notice in difference in phone service. Just watch your bills. I would also recommend getting a TivoHD over the Verizon DVR but it does cost money that some people may not have. It is light years ahead of the Fios DVR and it solves the problem of the Fios DVR.
