Why do I get a scrambled picture from vga laptop to vga on tv?
Hello,
I have an asus UL50VT laptop with vga output(core dou, geforce G210m). I also have a older Pioneer SD-532HD5 rear projection hd tv with vga input. Ipurchasedd a 10ft male to male vga cord to connect the two. Once connected I got a scrambled image to no surprise having hooked pcs to tvs before. I played with the resolutions and other misc settings but nothing I tried would get me any sort of clear picture. Any ideas what the problem could be? Grrrr, I just want to watch movies on the big screen….
Well it could be because the cable is so long and it means its too far away, the same thing happened to me! But try switching off mobile phones, or taking them out of the room. If you have a satellite dish neary our room this might be causing the problem too. Or it could be that your TV is not suited to doing this.
