hd tv hub
lighter than an Ethernet cable?

I bought my first HD TV and Blu-ray player with my tax return! the blu ray player is able to YouTube videos play when connected to the Internet. the only option, it will connect to the Internet through an Ethernet cable. However, I rent a room and have several roomates. The hub for all Ethernet cable is in my roomates room. layout of our house has a very long hallway with no windows and has 6 bedrooms Doors along the corridor. all players are in the house, so we Ethernet cables, which have in each room so I'm afraid of tripping over the cable into the hallway, so I really do not want to have to run a cord across my bedroom floor. I wonder if there's one thing I could do, do not run a cord to have my bedroom

I wonder whether what is called a "hub" is actually a router or a switch. Hubs are not used much. Either way, it is a kind of Modem somewhere, provide access to the Internet. If you already have a router, replace it with a wireless router. All devices that are currently connected to the router via Ethernet can be with the new router via Ethernet, and you would have the wireless connectivity for your BD player. Modem Router —– —– PC: It will continue. Or, change —– —— modem router (or hub )—— PCs. I see no reason why it would be no "interference" be, as mentioned in another response.
