I need help with choosing tv?

Hello, I live in the US but my boyfriend lives in London, UK. I want to buy a TV for him (buy it online), but I have no idea on how to choose the right one for him. Here is what I found:

High Resolution 1280×1024 PC display.
8ms pixel response time.
Stylish, slimline profile design saving space.
Lightweight making it highly adaptable.

LCD is better on the eye than CRT.

In my opinion… you should look for one that has the HDMI Socket and is HD Ready… Otherwise, you’ll end up replacing it sooner than you hope. HD cable is getting cheaper and more widely available, so you may as well prepare for it even if you or your boyfriend don’t have it yet.

Also, it’s not a must, but find one with at least a 4ms response time. This feature will help cause less image distortion/pixelation on-screen when watching things that involve a lot of fast-moving action (i.e. video games or action movies). 8ms is ok, but you’ll get some blurred and pixelated effects sometimes.
