Looking for a good LCD Monitor that supports HD @ 1080p. Any recommendations?
Looking for good monitor. These are what I want it to do or be able to do
-Console Gaming/Computer Gaming @ 1080p (FPS and SPorts Games)
-Monitor to hook up with my laptop w/ native resolution 1366×768
-TV capable..right now Analog Cable (NTSC) but should also be able to switch to HD when available here.
-Speakers. For use when using as a tv or for gaming. Should be possible to use external speakers if preferred.
-Looking at the SAMSUNG brand.
-Cheap. Around 500.00 us dollars .. 26″-32″ maybe.
*Update – No, I dont want a monitor with the 1366×768 resolution. I just need it to be compatible with it.
so you want 1080p, but with 1366×768 native? I would just go for a 32″ LCD TV with VGA input. VGA Easily supports 1360×768 (which is native resolution of most 720p tv’s) however as far as 1080 goes…if you go with tv, you’ll have to go with a 1080p native tv not 720p. However most 720p tv’s can run 1080i?
