The basics of 3D-TV

There have been many rumors and critics of 3D TVs and how it dominated the TV market. A market research team projects the 3D-HD-TV industry to extend over four times in the next 9 years. This means that almost all the shows you see … Sports, movies, will soon be in a 3D format, etc. on a TV.

There are a few tips you should know before buying a 3D TV. For example: Is a Blue-ray player needed to view 3D movies? YES. 3D is much more expensive? Nope, not really. You may 2D-TV (normal quality)? Yes, you can switch back and forth from 2D to 3D.

A 3D representation on a 2D surface is basically stereo for the eyes. A picture on the right and left. In fact, 3D images and video is sometimes done by the left and right lenses that are slightly off set. How to balance? Its Just set off as a pair of human eyes. Its about 4 inches cm or 7. Its called stereopsis. The brain thinks his view of a 3D image to see, because its two different images from two different angles. The same two angles as your eyes. This tricks your mind to seeing depth. Right now the TV business can be used to project the two images on a screen the same Time without being unclear and it cost too much to have two different televisions for each eye. This is how it is able to fool your brain is tricked into seeing 3D images on the Screen.

3D TVs currently falls into two different categories. 3D movies you observed with active shutter glasses and 3D high-definition TV you can see with polarized glasses.

This is how active shutter functions. The glasses are powered by batteries and our connected to an emitter in your 3D TV. The emitter sends radio signals to red, or info-your glasses each lens of the glasses and told to either open or close. Kinda like a shop window. This is done in-sync with fast flashing images to the right or left of the screen. This is all done over one hundred times per second. Therefore, it is almost impossible to turn LED TV or Plasma TV in 3D. This refresh rate is also known as the HT.

Okay so you know about active shutter glasses, but that's not the only way to see 3D. If you Alice Seen in Wonderland or avatar you've been in the movies with polarized glasses, such as shutter glasses. Polarized glasses you can see different images in slightly off-set each Eye. Fooling your mind into seeing 3D, have two differnt film theater projectors flashing right and left images on the screen. It all works together and synchronized, because it is the left eye only the left image and the right eye sees only the right image and also to see polorized lens are not battery operated, because it passively.
