2 TV’s? Dish Network has DUO HD Digital Satellite Receivers
DUO HD receivers are simply high definition receivers for two TV’s. However, their functionality is not in any way simple. It has many high quality features such as watching two different TV stations in two different rooms. It also has the capacity to record a program while you are watching another program on a different TV. All of this is with HD, or high definition resolution which means that you will get the highest quality images on your TV screen. There are two types of DUO HD Receivers, the DUO DVR VIP 722K and the DUO VIP 222K. Both are loaded with great features.
The DUO DVR VIP 722K receiver gives you the ability to connect to two TV’s, one HD TV and one standard definition TV. It gives you the ability to watch shows separately on each TV and the ability to record a program while watching another program. You will have 350 hours of standard definition recording time and 55 hours of HD recording time for your programs. You can actually watch one pre-recorded program while recording two separate programs. Each TV will have its own remote which will allow you to pause, playback and record all your favorite programs. Another great feature is the PIP or picture in picture view which allows you to watch two programs on one screen. Your TV1 has all of the applicable image resolutions of 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i. TV2 has the 480i resolution only. And finally, video on demand allows you to choose from thousands of movies as well as TV shows. This is a great choice for a receiver for your HD Satellite TV.
The DUO VIP 222K is also a high definition receiver for two TVs. If you only have one HD Television, it gives you the ability to connect one TV to HD and the other TV to standard definition. You have two remotes and have the ability to watch two separate programs in two separate rooms. It also has the capability of recording one show on one TV while watching another show on the other TV. You have the same image resolutions as in the 722K receiver for each TV.
You have two different HD receivers with many features. The choice is yours. With today’s HD programming and all of the versatile channels out there, the sky is the limit. You get to decide which receiver best meets what you need. Functionally, they are both outstanding, providing the satellite customer with a variety of options for TV viewing in the new age.
