How do I connect a coaxial cable from the wall jack to my TV that doesn’t have a coaxial cable connection?

You can make this work with an old VCR, assuming you have analog basic cable service at that jack. Connect the jack to the VCR input, connect the VCR composite output (yellow-red-white) to the same jacks on your TV. Select that input with the TV’s remote and leave it there permanently. Use the VCR to change channels.
