High quality training video and good product layout
The HDTV Cam is a great accessory for the Revue.
– The picture/video quality is extremely good. The lighting in my room is mediocre, and yet the picture still comes out looking significantly better than while using Logitech HDTV Widescreen Video Cam built into the MacBook and ThinkPad which i use in the same room.
– Build quality is excellent. This is something apparent from whenever you take the camera out from the box. The casing has the opinion solid, and there is a steady hinge about the back of the camera you can use to prop them onto your flat monitor. There is just enough tension with the camera to feel secure around the TV set.
If only Logitech could update the Revue software compliment video conferencing with users on Skype, Google converse, or even FaceTime, rather then requiring Logitech Vid HIGH-DEFINITION accounts, I can bump this review about be 5 stars.
TELEVISION Video Calling – awesome!
We’ve only used this a couple of times – which is simply because we don’t know many people that have video calling equipment. But our experience may be great – we connected with the grandparents without almost any problems (which is declaring lot, the grandparents usually are technically savvy! ). the actual interface was easy, image quality is great. I especially liked the suggestion in making the picture smaller from the connection quality. Receiving a call in the middle of a movie was a bit of a surprise, but most people hit the ignore button, and continued with released movie. Terrific quality, easy to use – now I just have more people to receive video equipment.
Logitech Revue, GoogleTV along with Cam
The Widescreen Video Camera is an outstanding addition! The ability to put your peers per your choice and possess live video chats with top quality streaming video and audio at your homw TV is unbeatable. I’m hoping that my own contacts from Gmail will be able to be integrated providing me the option to video chat along with people via their smartphones and PC’s too.
Simple to install, plug and play. focus quality is phenomenal. Has the power to pan and tilt when streaming. Not too obtrusive design wise inside the room aesthetically. I strongly recommend this unit with all the Logitech Revue. This is critical with the system.
