Why is my brand new, £ 600 LCD TV with Sky is rubbish? Help?
Ok … I bought a Samsung 32 "LCD TV LE32R74BDX – I researched the product, and many people seem to think that this is the best TV 32 "LCD is available on the market -. certinainly in its price class, but I plugged it in this morning, and I was in the sky ….. with a shiny new gold-scart-cable and the image is a massive disppointment. It just can not keep up with every movement and is grainy, is blurred, if someone moves. Live sports is a washout – There is too much graininess and even ZX Spectrum-style color clash! Can anyone advise? I have not tried the built-in DVB-T receiver yet, as I do not have a regular antenna cable. I've bought the wrong sky box? I needed an HD one? Very disappointed and the crowd again on Monday, unless someone can tell me that I am doing something wrong!
You should probably with better connections, scart .. try Component or RGB cables for better clarity … assuming your sky box these relationships one has to try things. Go to the picture controls, you find the setting for sharpness. Turn it down. Then turn it down a bit until it is turned off. At first glance, the image is soft. Give it some time. Chances are within a few hours you will notice that the picture looks much more natural and that with the focus solely on over-stressed edges.
