My Samsung tv is showing black bars on my HD channels but not on my regular channels?
If the black bars are on each side of the picture that is because the show you are watching is not filmed in HD. HD channels that don’t broadcast HD programming will have a black bar on each side and sometimes on the top and bottom of the picture also. This problem will fix itself in time, when everything is filmed in HD.
