I get HD(DTV) channels now, Do I still need a converter box?
I have an HDTV and watch HD channels (NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS) with my antenna now. Tomorrow with the DTV switch will anything change for me? Will I need to get a converter or does my Tv act as the converter?
My TV has a built in NTSC/ATSC Tuner, HD compatible, 3D Digital Comb Filter. <<< I've added this stuff because I don't know what it is and it might be of some help in answering my question.
Thanks to all of your answers. I have an HD picture and have 4 ABC, NBC, and CBS channels so I'm good to go.
Thanks again.
No, you do not need a converter box. You only need it if you are using an outside antenna to get your tv programs with an old CRT tv.. If you have cable tv or disc network you won’t need it, even if you have an old CRT tv.
