Since the massive success of 3D movies like Avatar at the box office, people have wanted to watch 3DTV’s at home.
Do you long to get a 3DTV in your home? The pipe dream is now reality, with 3D-TV’s being sold all over the country to eager customers. There’s not much use in having a 3dtv without something to watch… which means you’ll need some kind of 3d ready player and some source material. It’s likely that most people who own a 3dtv will either use a standalone 3d blu ray player, such as the playstation 3, or a piece of kit under the TV such as the Sky+ box.
If you’re into games, the Playstation 3 can handle 3d blu ray as well as play some 3d games and would be your best choice 3D glasses are also required to enjoy 3dtv at home. Each manufacturer’s glasses are different, so the AGS100 won’t work with Sony’s, Panasonic or Samsung. It wouldn’t be possible to watch 3d entertainment on a 3dtv without the 3d glasses, you’d either see a blurry picture, or two pictures side by side. The glasses block the light to one eye then the other, sequentially, so that you only see one image for your right eye and one for your left. Your brain is tricked by the different images into believing it’s seeing a 3d image with depth.
